Neil Pilcher

Neil Pilcher works in the Governor’s Office in American Samoa as the Executive Assistant to the Lt. Governor. Prior to this political appointment he worked at the American Samoa Environmental Protection Agency for seven years as the Division Head for Administration. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree with the Indigenous Governance Program at the University of Arizona in Tucson. He also holds a master’s degree in business from the University of Queensland (Australia) and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Loyola Marymount University (California). His practice and research focus on Samoan land ontologies and public administration theory.
